It’s Friday! And that means that we have a pretty nice free pattern tucked up our sleeve for you. Today’s pattern comes to us by way of Art of Yarn, a local yarn shop located in beautiful Kelowna, BC, which lies in the heart of the Okanagan Valley.
We recently received an email from the Art of Yarn ladies with this picture and a quick write-up on how this gorgeous scarf was achieved. It uses a chunky yarn that is available in a stunning range of shades, and the pattern itself is dead simple. What more could a knitter ask for in a scarf?
So without further ado… let’s get to it!
Using just two skeins of Borgo de Pazzi Naturalia Degrade, cast on 21 stitches with 12mm needles.
Row 1: (Knit One, Purl One) across.
Repeat this row (seed stitch) until you have just enough yarn to cast off.
Cast off.
Weave in ends.
Blocking is not necessary, but can be done if you so desire.
There. Wasn’t that easy? And isn’t it beautiful? A truly winning combination!
