Spotlight on Cascade 220 Superwash Merino

If you have yet to discover Cascade 220 Superwash Merino, it’s about time that you do! Easy to wash, soft to wear, a joy to knit and available in a wide range of colours, this worsted weight yarn makes a great alternative to the traditional Cascade 220 or the popular Cascade 220 Superwash.
Free patterns for this yarn are available for download on the Cascade Yarns website, but the good news is that any patterns for the Cascade 220 or Cascade 220 Superwash will also work!
We are currently loving the Ellie Cardigan, designed by Cheryl Beckerich, with it’s classic cut, feminine lace, and gentle cables tucked between each eyelet diamond. This cardigan can be worn with jeans and a t-shirt, just as easily as it can be dressed up with an elegant skirt. With so many colour options available, this is the perfect Winter project, for anyone feeling ready to finally knit something for themselves (for a change!)

Should you be in search of something that will perhaps fly off the needles just a tad faster than an adult cardigan will, then why not give this sweet little hat a go? One ball will knit a hat in a wide range of sizes, and we suspect that you will likely even manage to get two little hats from one ball! Now that is good value, if you ask us.
