New Book- Lang Urban 243

We have yet to figure out how they do it, but without fail, Lang Yarns manages to produce several publications each season that somehow make us want to throw out every piece of clothing we own and start fresh.

The photography, the styling, and the simplicity of the garments are presented in such a way that makes us think that while we may not be Swiss models like the people within the pages of each book, we might actually be able to pull off most (if not all!) of the garments

Their latest book, FAM 243 Urban is no exception. Brimming with stylish, versatile pieces, perfect for the Spring weather that lies ahead, there are patterns for all skill levels, and all style types. In pairing classic shapes with modern yarns, Lang stays on top of the trends, while at the same time, managing to offer many capsule pieces that will be worn for years to come.

Lang produces many gorgeous, top quality yarns that really don’t need much in the way of complicated design work. Simple shapes and stitch patterns make every yarn simply sing.

The more classic yarns from the Lang family are often used in simple lace, cables or colour work garments. Each design holds enough interest for a knitter to make it to the very end, but are not so fussy looking, that it may not translate to one’s wardrobe.

This new book will be available in local yarn shops across Canada starting this week, so be sure to call yours to get a copy put aside! Spring is (supposedly) on it’s way, so we had better get our wardrobes ready for it’s arrival!

Happy knitting everyone!
