Esquina Cowl- Free Pattern Friday

Accessories are such a great way to play around with new techniques. Not only can you always learn something new, but accessories also finally give you an excuse to wind up that single luxury skein of sock yarn that you have been saving forever.

Oh, come on now… you know the one! That skein that you have been telling yourself is just too pretty to be knit up???

Well, we are here to tell you that yarn is meant to be knit with! So take a deep breath, wind it up into a ball of beauty, and cast on!

This cowl called Esquina Cowl by Lisa. R Meyers seemed like a good way to use up that precious single skein, and perhaps maybe even learn something new!

Using mitered squares to create a lovely and drapey (but not too big!) cowl, this is sure to be a satisfying knit.
