New Yarn- King Cole Cotton Soft Crush DK

While we may be dealing with heavy snow from coast to coast in this country, that doesn’t mean that we can’t all dream of the warmer days to come. Before we know it… the snow will have melted, and it will be time to ditch the warm wools, and embrace the cooler cottons.

Which brings us to a yarn that King Cole has recently released for the Spring/Summer 2017 season- Cotton Soft Crush DK. The name itself is not a cryptic one, and tells us exactly what we need to know about it. This yarn is cotton, it is soft, it is a DK weight, and one look/feel, and you’ll be crushing on it hard. The one thing that the name fails to mention however, is that it is a self-striping yarn- but that’s just one more reason for us to ‘crush’ on it like we do.

Available in eight soft colourways, the palette is a mixture of feminine, playful and classic. Including soft tonal purples and pinks, neutral greys and beiges and cheerful shades of primula roses and greens, anyone who embraces their inner colour-lover will find a place for a few balls of Cottonsoft Crush DK in their stash.

Along with the eight enticing shades comes eight tempting pattern leaflets- each one with two designs included! Classic cardigans, chevron tanks, boatneck tee’s, even some kid’s garments and accessories, each style is simple and straight forward, lending itself to the self striping yarn beautifully.

Cotton Soft Crush DK and it’s accompanying patterns are all in stock in our warehouse, and ready to ship today. If you have a yarn store, feel free to place an order, and we will be sure to get it out to you as quickly as possible. If you don’t have a store, but are keen to get your hands on some of this yarn (and who could blame you???), then be sure to give your local yarn shop a call to inquire about when they will receive their order.

We are hoping that you all managed to stay safe and warm amongst the snow squalls this past few days, and are using it as an opportunity to get through some knitting and crocheting.

On days when we are stranded in our snow covered homes- thank goodness for our knitting!
