This week we received a phone call from a customer who was inquiring about this beautiful shawl/wrap. The pattern was featured in the 2015 Spring/Summer issue of Vogue Knitting, and they wondered where they could find the pattern. They were simply dying to cast on!
Which got us thinking… what a fantastic project to be knitting these days! While it certainly is a bit of a commitment, it is absolutely perfect for this warmer weather. Even if it pools in your lap, it is knit using Forest Hills by Cascade Yarns– a laceweight 51% silk/49% merino blend that is light and airy. With an impressive 717 meters per ball, only one ball will make you this entire wrap! Now THAT is what we would call “good entertainment value”.
And judging by the look of this lace… we suspect that it will be an entirely addictive knit. So you might just fly through it far faster than expected!
To access the pattern, simply click here and scroll down until you find “Forest Hills Dayflower Wrap” (Hint- the patterns are listed alphabetically if that helps). And while you’re at it, why not have a look at some of the other free patterns we have on our site, courtesy of Cascade Yarns? There are loads!
We have been adding new patterns daily, so be sure to check in regularly!
Happy knitting- and weekend- everyone!
